Deeper than

Deeper than

Romans 7:6

But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.

To serve with gladness ... rejoicing the gift of God

The joy of salvation ... that resides deep within

Deeper than emotion ... deeper than myself

Seated in heavenly places ... delivered from all sin

Free flow from God’s Spirit ... running into mine

from far beyond the universe ... into this earthly vessel

Communication to my inner-man ... the only part that’s clean

far beyond the “me” and “mine” ... who dwell in a tore up castle.

Deep inside I wait for Him to speak

in that place, He made clean and fair.

Where reverence reigns with Holy Fear

so Love Devine rules everywhere.

To overcome the carnal ... I need to know about this place.

A place that offers rest and peace through the Holy Spirit

Remember I’m “God’s temple” ... to this human race.

and in faith through patience ... Christ, I’ll inherit.

Experience through repetition ... or let us say: “Whatever”.

I am confused right now ... and my mind is taking charge.

That is no good well understood ... as I start to wander

in that fleshly never-land ...  where everything is a farce.
