Deceit

2 Corinthians 11:13-14

13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

“Satan transforms himself” ... a master of disguises

He does not go around with horns ... or as a fig long dried.

He appears at times like an angel ... or a gentle beauty

but reality can be found ... by looking in his eyes.

He loves when we are drunk or doped up to the brim.

When we have lost our senses ... he appears like a saint.

Somewhere along the way ... his nature will be showing

as sin goes on the rampage ... and we justify its faint.

Yes sin becomes acceptable ... when he is in charge.

Even rotten to the core with him ... is a form of “perfection”.

Greed and selfishness ... become an acceptable way of living

and the will like putty ... will be confirmed in his direction.
