Decay

Galatians 6:8

Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay

and death from that sinful nature.

But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.

Defiled I am through sin and through issues of the soul.

Emotions and affections need to be under God’s control.

Affections not inspired by God’s “Will” ... must quickly fold

Otherwise all turns in lust of the flesh ... simply its only goal.

He who has not died ... to simply worldly affection

Has not died to anything and that is clearly shown.

Yes, the world around us is a spiritual reflection

Of not dying to natural ... showing the decaying state goes on.

Before our redemption ... our desires intertwined with sin

In an emotional state ... we are mostly controlled by desire.

But now as being Christians ... if our desires rule our lives

Carnality within flourishes ... and not purification by fire.
