Death is Everywhere

I can smell it in the air. I can feel it in my bones

There’s death everywhere, it’s sitting on the thrones

It’s watching, it’s waiting for you to come near

It’s sniffing, it’s smelling, it’s  digging out your fear

Death is leading its battle, its victory is at hand

We fight for hope, we fight for life on our final stand

We scream our battle cry, death comes fleeting in

Reminding us all of our suffering and sin

We see our lives pass in a minute, then all is black

And now there is no turning back!

For all that’s left of us is gone

As the morning comes to dawn

It shines on blood, it shines on bones, it shines on the last of life

The ground littered with blood and heat, with bow and knife

Now up from the shadows comes the shadow king

The life to Death itself, and death he does bring

Death to innocent and to poor

Death is right outside your door

Evil is an understatement, yes it is much worse

For it is Death for the whole entire Universe
