Dearly Beloved

Upon your return
I shall wait.
The deepest parts of my
Confused heart become
Your sanctuary.
Shall I continue this journey
Towards horizons yet unknown?
This eternal heart
Adorned with light and dark
Alike are your salvation,
If only you are willing
To face ocean and sky
To find its center;
My soul.
Face these demons with
My hope your weapon
And my thoughts
Your paradise.
I wait for you,
Dearly beloved upon
Pillars of stone faces.
Stars and worlds
Rise into every heart,
When will yours and mine
Mingle within universes
Of our own creation?
