Dear Where I Belong

Dear Where I Belong,

In these years

I have sprouted like a fern

Although shedding many tears

I realized what I can’t unlearn

There’s a place where I’m meant to be

It’s not where I kick the ball

Nor is it where I study

But it’s place where I don’t feel small

Where I can walk in with pride

Guided by bright lights

This place is known worldwide

It’s where many spend their nights

Going here I can pretend

Forget all my stress

Many hours here I spend

It’s there where I found my success

The different places it takes me

My emotions go insane

I love this place so badly

It makes me forget all my pain

Characters form

Harmonies collide

Instruments sing a storm

And the world feels so wide

Standing directly center

I feel at home there

The life of an actor

A stage is my favorite atmosphere

A passionate Thespian,

Kristen
