Dear Sanity

Dear Sanity,

Why did you go?

You promised me love, success, power, freedom, friendship,

Love.

When the love you promised died

And the shadows crept across my mind

You were there.

A kindling of hope.

But now they’re back.

And it’s dark.

So dark.

Dear Insanity,

Why won’t you go?

Sincerely,

Joe Fullinwider
