Dear parents

I love you,
But I hate this game,
I want you to still love me,
But I'm tired of feeling this shame,

I want to be happy,
And at this point I don't know who's to blame,
Because I hate where I am,
And I dread hearing you call my name,

And hey Dad,
I really don't want to be afraid of you anymore,
But I can only think of that time you beat me,
Because I slammed a door.

And hey Mom,
I'm really tired of feeling so wrong,
Of feeling so sick when I realized you lied again,
But I guess you will always keep singing the same song,

Can you blame me,
For wanting to leave so badly?
