Dear Mom,
I see the pain that you carry
Every singe day
I see the tears
That you so desperately
Try to hide.
Dear Mom,
I know the pain you carry
Is deeper than my own,
But I do not know how you manage
To carry on with your life.
Dear Mom,
I wish I could take your pain away
I wish that I could hurt those
Who hurt you.
Dear Mom,
I know it's hard to be far
from each other
Because I cry everyday for and with you.
Dear Mom,
We'll both make it out alive.
I've been told that only the strong
people make it through life
and we've made it thus far.
Dear Mom,
We both have had tempting thoughts
because our battle maybe over
but our wounds have not healed.
Dear Mom,
I wish you could see your own strength
that gets you through the day.
It is not my sister nor I that give you that will.
It is your own will that pushes you.
Dear Mom,
I'll make you proud of us.
Without your love and your guide,
I would have not made it thus far.
Dear Mom,
Thank you for being the best mom you could
possibly be, for me.
Dear Mom,
I love you, always and forever.
