Dear God, I can't

Dear God, I can't

Yes i mean the word i cannot

hearing lot f motivators say

we should not use the word i can't

because it's the language of failures.

But i failed not to use the word

because i can't, yes i mean i cannot.

looking at myself and i examined my life

and i asked myself how can i not use the word i can't?

because i can't, yes i mean the word i cannot.

i have tried to walk this journey

i have tempted to run this race without you

but i failed, i failed to continue

and i found myself in knees.

Then i realised,  realised

i can't continue the journey

without your light unto my path,

i can't run this race, not any longer

without your strength in me.

For life without you, its like

wearing shades in the darkness.

Life becomes shady, becomes dark.

I can't fight those amalakites

without your power, without your protection,

without carrying your shield.

Yes i mean i can't, not this time around.

How can one cross those rivers Jordan

because i can't do that without you

opening the way for me.

How can one not drawn in those red seas?

because i can't rescue myself in those storms.

I really can't make it without you.

And i can't imagine this so called life

without your presence.

I CAN'T yes i mean the word I CANNOT.
