Dear Admirer, Do You Really Want Me?

In the past, I have been hurt, lied to, cheated on, beaten, and bruised by men who have dated me in the past,

As you may know, I do not come with an presage,

Most people don't, so I made one for our future relationship,

If you wish to date me, listen carefully,

If you will make hate comments about my body, leave,

If you will have unrealistic expectations for me, leave,

If you will hold past arguments against me, leave,

If you will touch me when I say no, leave,

If you will break our monogamous vow, leave,

If you want me to be dependent on you, leave,

If you will beat me or threaten me, leave,

If you will force me to stay with you, leave,

If you will spend all of my money and not pay our rent, leave,

If you will only leave me with a broken heart, do not start loving me.

If I judge you by a standard, it is not your fault, it is the result of others who have hurt me before you,

If you will stay with me and agree that you will not hurt me the way they have,

I can only promise that we will be happy, and I will love you,

I can only promise that I will be there for you when you are sad or ill, and I will cry with you,

I can only promise that I will take you to nice restaurants, and I will take you dancing,

I can only promise that I will go to every club with you, and I will dress nicely,

I can only promise that I will stay with you all day watching Netflix, and I will wear sweats,

I can only promise that I will love you until my last breath, and I will swear it.

If you will love me too, do not leave.
