Deaf Eyes

Envy the Blind

To see the scenes but, not feel the pain,

to share the hate but not spread the love,

ripping and raping,

taking and taping,

this is why the windows of your soul are stained glass murals,

hate in multitudes death always plural,

life is a theatre in a cemetary,

Mothers having children but never staying married

pain measured in forevers,

forevers.... no more than years,

Quiet eyes and silent ears.
