Days Like These

Days Like These

Days like these make you

ache for the Past.

They make you wish Happy Moments

 in life could last.

Moments filled with

laughter

and

dancing

and

music

and allure.

Now you only long to

go back to before.

Before the

arguments

and

fights

consumed with

Bitter Tears.

Back to the days when

your Pain was only

your fear.

Fear of

losing control.

Fear of

coming undone.

Fear of

breaking their hearts.

Fear of

hurting someone.

Days like these

abandon all Hope.

They make the air feel heavy

as you start to choke.

Choking on

thoughts

and

words

and

love

left unsaid.

Cold underground,

left for dead.

Dead

Sparkles in Eyes

and

Kisses on Cheeks.

Dead

Smiles in Snow

and

Dances in Streets.

Streets

covered in rain

and the

glow of night.

Streets

to new lives,

reflecting the Light.
