Days Gone By

Location

64056

A smile whispers upon your lips
A rare sight I can only glimpse
Holding fast to days gone by
I feel it all beginning to die
No more shall I feel your kiss
Or look into eyes filled with bliss
You'll go on to a happier place
While tearstains forever streak my face
Memories stream down empty halls
Another tear drop begins to fall
And as your body prepares to leave
Your purity and soul I do receive
For with you I'll never fail
Hunger and thirst will never ail
I hope sometime we meet again
To start where now our journey ends
