Daylight ... you are loved

Ecclesiastes 7:11 Wisdom Can Lengthen One’s Life11 Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing;
it benefits those who see the light of day.
 Daylight

Daylight how much are you loved ... who takes you for granted?

You have given me the ability ... to look and see “all” around me?

Some speed so fast in thought ... that scenery stopped moving

deep within the cavities of care ... far from where they should be

Frozen in chosen priorities ... faking a dance to a beat

that moves in one direction ... as in a funeral discrete

The only light others see then ... are the lights on all the cars

that they shine in daylight ... to give some folks the creeps

Someone just departed ... that is all then that is seen

a glimpse of time, a little light ... in the cravings of their need

“I care, you see” they crying out ... can’t you see my tears?

Not knowing they were buried long ago ... in the hearts of all that hear.
