Daydream Fog

Well this is odd

This funny little fog

It came outta nowhere

I don’t think it’s a nightmare

But I’m slower than I wanna be

And I don’t quite feel like me

Or maybe I’m more myself

When surrounded by fae and elf

I didn’t think daydreams covered

Has my reason been smothered?

The line has blurred

Reality and dream merged

Do I want this?

Is there something I missed?

I am now thoroughly lost

Was the dream worth the cost?

If ignorance is bliss

Perhaps it’s worth it to wander the mist

It is perplexing

I find it quite vexing

It really is odd

This daydream fog
