How is it that even amidst
The sleepless daydream floating days
And pleasant lack of true emotion
That one emotion still won't go away
And even after all that has happened in a short time
And the many fits that followed
Now
In the calm
It still remains
And yet the object of this emotion
I am not sure of
Anymore
But still
One feeling stays
It seems
No matter how hard

To make it go away
