A DAY IN MY SHOES

Location

Like the sun, every day I want to become brighter,

Like the moon, when I fall asleep at night I want to become brighter.

I do not want to learn right from wrong by you because my parents already do that.

I do not want to learn how to fill in bubbles on a scantron or be drilled on how to take a standardized

test that doesn’t determine who I am. I do not want to sit in a class just because , I want to be there for

autonomy: my desire to direct my own life , for mastery; my urge to get better at things and most

importantly for purpose; the feeling of importance and that I made a difference in this world .

So when are we going to start understanding and stop reading?
