The Darwinism of Monsters

Location

From a young age we're taught that the,
Monsters live under our beds.
And that the flick of a light switch will,
Send them running.

But as we get older,
The monsters get smarter.
They learn that nightmares don't last,
And we learn not to fear the dark.

The monsters then evolve,
Into demons.
That possess our brains,
Exorcising our minds of every positive thought.

Finally turning our minds into
Our own unique, living hell.
