Day in, day out

What is it all about?

I can’t deny

This change I’ve taken

Maybe I’ll be different.

 

I’ve walked through Depression

I’ve walked through Anger

I’ve fought my battles

And I’ve lost who I am

 

It took eight months

To find my way,

But when I did,

It was a glorious day.

 

I found my identity in the one True King

I have been saved

I’ve been changed

I have been set free.

 

It is by God’s grace

That I live and breathe

So, I live each day

Knowing that I am free 

 

I’ve gone from darkness to light

And this is me

I know my identity.
