The world I live in grows dimmer each day
Over time my sight just fades away
As blindness moves in I take a step back
Knowing that darkness is on the attack
But will it be so bad to live like this
Could the beauty of blackness be my own bliss
Could I find a sanctuary here?
Could I find peace in my deepest fear?
All I can do is move through these shadows
And carry the light inside me wherever I go
