Darkness

Up ahead, the vast journey of our lives,

Through the valleys and the mountains many,

All the many miles, yet a young girl strives,

Although she thinks the fountain is plenty.

As the young child sleeps the darkness arrives,

Her life begging to be perfectly spent,

All the things it is willing to deprive,

To all it occurs ever so silent.

Signs are soon to be shown to everyone,

Doctors are sure to find what lurks with in,

They find darkness, they know she is done,

Girl thinks how will I ever tell my kin?

Darkness so happy, for the girl to late,

With the fountain empty, who can relate?
