Broken horizon,

A symphony of steel,

Deep seeded wounds that time can not heal.

Silently still,

Loosing all breath

Darkness consumes until nothing is left.

Raindrops that fall,

Wash away all the blood,

That runs like a river and mixes with mud.

All things have faded,

Only ashes remain;

Memories of life that the darkness has changed.

Broken horizon,

A sympony of steel,

Buried so deep; the dead can not feel.

This poem is meant to show the devastation that can come from war. I hope one day we can put down our weapons and live for the common good of all man.
