Darkened

The sun is gone

The moon has taken its place

The stars have disappeared

The sky is no longer lite up

The darkness consumes my soul

This dreadful place I once called home

Gone...

Vanished upon my pitiful soul

The sun that shined upon me and brought me life

Gone...

Rain pours on me

Tears drag across my face

The water thickens every moment I think of them

Those memories

That beauty

The smile that once drew my face with a pencil

Gone...

Has been erased with the same pencil they drew it with

Has disappeared like the sun

Has disappeared like the moon

Has disappeared like the stars

Now I stay in complete darkness

Darkened by the memories

The solitude consumes me once more

But yet the only thing that could fix this is

Gone...
