Dark Room

Being in my body is like walking outside in the rain without an umbrella, into a swimming pool. Constantly drowning.  It's like my lungs fill with water as my eyes fill with tears. It's like screaming for help but being 6 feet under. It's like sitting in a dark room while all the lights in the house are on. It's hopeless, like trying to save a dead person. Dark room, with dark windows and dark feelings. It's like having a pity party that not even you show up to. Step into my shoes and see what it feels like. It's like sitting in a dark room while all the lights in the house are on.
