Dark nights,
Loud noise,
Hateful words,
Ugly slurs,.
Through it all we fight through.
Knocked down,
we turned around,
rised up,
and stayed strong.
Years pass ,
we moved on.
On top
but yet still not equal
Changes are made
but more to come.
We've came far enough,
the time finally came
Who ever thought we could say our president is black?
