Dancers Dilemma

Eyes despised glass for one and four hours
Silent and soured by it's manipulative power
By it's truth

It weaves delicate knots through the mind
threads thicken
And lock
Even fact is opinion

Am I thin enough?
be the one over there
scared to walk away from it,
My bun is crooked.

Deep as the surface into you stare
Ripping hair out from your scalp
Scream I am not what I see
The Mirror is mocking me!

Gauging perfection potential,
Potentially perfect
Especially worth it

The Faux foe said,
You're Never to grasp the lidless box
If you can't get past the glass
This poem is about:
Me
