Dance is a passion,

Though some say it’s not,

Dance is a way,

You can express your thoughts.

Dance is a sport,

Though some disagree,

Dance is an art,

And it’s definitely not easy.

Turns and leaps,

And staying in time,

In front of an audience,

That isn’t always kind.

Dance makes me happy,

The challenge is welcome,

You may doubt my ability,

But I always overcome. 

So say what you want,

Say what you will,

Dance is my passion,

And I love it still.
