A Cry For Help: The Story of a Friend

I have this friend
He's always there for me
We never fight or hit below the belt
We even made friendship bracelets

He doesn't have a lot of friends
So I try and stick around
He gets made fun of a lot
It isn't right

The kids at school push him around
The teachers turn their heads
His nose even got broken
I hate them

My friend likes boys
But that's not okay with them
Why does he have to get hurt for that?
No one cared

Last year my friend killed himself
I hope that pleases them
Their convictions killed him
He was 12 years old
And those people will burn in Hell

People are discriminated against for a lot of things and steps are being made to put an end to it. However, ads and promotions can''t physically stop discrimination-that's up to us. While this poem is fictional it still demands a course of action. Don't stand by and watch a life deteriorate-revive one. Thanks to my real friend KeeKee for inspiring me to write this poem.

Oh the poem is fictional :P My friend Kee Kee is gay and I love him. I thought I'd write this one for his struggles.
