crossing over

jerky movements and sweaty palms

they take over and you can't stand

the thought of life claws at your heart

taking over and digging in deep

you swallow your tears and look at your feet

silent and cold, your body lies still

you've no clue what to do but you can't seem to scream

peace at last has knocked at your door

inviting your soul to come and adore-

the moments of life, you thought had no worth

smiling with glee, you rose to your feet

the ground soft and fresh

you'd never had guessed-

the colors that shown deep beneath your breast
