Country Love, All That I Need

He is strong and he is brave

I am small and I am plain

Opposite ends of every extreme

But somehow that country boy

Fell in country love with me

When I am weak I hit my knees

Pray to God my soul to keep

My courage comes from faith

But it's his hand in my hand

That sets my breathing pace

We drive until the lights disappear

And the pavement gives away

We roll across the gravel

In the truck he let me name

He's all that I see

All that I need

The roots that hold me steady

And the limbs that help me reach

We've grown together

Two seeds into one tree

Uninhibitted view but still I wonder

Over and over

How the country boy

In country love with me

Came to be

All that I need
