A Country

We are a COUNTRY full of IGNORANCE.

Our leader believes Global Warming is a hoax,

We pride on individuality but yell at anyone who's different.

We are a COUNTRY full of HATRED.

Travelers are drageed off planes,

Children of different ethnicities are told they are Un-American.

Yet,

We are a COUNTRY full of LOVE.

We open our homes to friends who had theirs taken by Katrina,

We send letters and care-packages to veterans.

Most importantly,

WE ARE THE UNITED STATES,

and despite those who consider me "Un-American"

THIS IS MY HOME.

This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
