Confessions From A Doting Sister

Fri, 07/31/2015 - 12:28 -- LV98

The pitter patter of your footsteps upstairs.

Optimus Prime and Thomas the Train.

The way you view the world

With a pure, childish innocence.

For years, I asked and pleaded

A little sibling is exactly what I needed,

And my wish was answered

Five amazing years ago.

Each day, I love watching you grow.

And yes, sometimes the struggle was too real

From ruined school projects to petty arguments,

I thought I could not even deal.

Yet, a life without you is unimaginable,

Your curiousity and wit

Always make you my first pick.

Call me bias, but there's no denying

What a wonderful human being you are

So keep on shining.
