confession to luna and her cosmic parents

confession:

i fell asleep with the moon last night,

but she didn't mind.

she welcomed me with open arms

as we at midnight in the treetops.

there she began to explain why she loves

the quiet of night do dearly

and she did so without a word.

i talked to her softly for hours it seemed

while she smiled sweetly and listened

with understanding eyes and open heart.

confession:

i laid my head down in her lap

as she shone over me in peace.

she reminds me everything will be okay.

the next morning she was gone

with only a note in her place

promising to be back again in the night.

i believe her.

confession:

i think i'm in love.
