Concrete Stars

13.27 miles later

I'm laying in my driveway

trying to count the stars

I'm doing god a favor

In hope you wont seem as far

I want to go home

300 miles away

you reflect on yellow walls

too hesitant to wish on stars

and hope that they will fall

I wish you could have stayed

your love feels like home

but now I make my way

racing the unknown

I want to go home

Lying in my driveway

I don't know where we are

I don't know where to go

I'm counting concrete stars

and hoping that they'll know

I want to go home.
