Concrete

Somewhere

there is a pool

its depth everlasting

surrounded by walls of concrete

it lies neither her nor there

full of precious jewels

intense with contrasting

elements so discrete

I can no longer bear

as the eternal overflows its rule

undergoing permanent casting

into the blackest ink

it stains

internal portion now bare

All else returns to spool

naked for a moment but never lasting

surrounded in walls of concrete
