Acts 10:34-35                             New English Translation

34 Then Peter started speaking: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people, 35 but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is welcomed before him.

 

Comprehension

 

If a pot seems dirty and never has been cleansed up to date

It may be used here or there, but it won’t have an appeal

It can be placed under a leak to keep water from spreading

But never to be a part for the preparation of the Master’s meal

 

Worldly wise or foolish folks maybe totally corrupted

Seemingly rotten to the core with little or no good inside

All that’s needed here is for their total being to be sifted

And through repentance being placed into everlasting life

 

To be embraced by the King of Glory and so become known

Separated from all others, who ignore and dislike God’s Will

Does that make God partial to the ones who are now His own?

Why do you think it’s different? Why reason about an overkill?
