The Colour of War is not Red
By R. M. Otto

I see only white
He sees the white
I see the black and the white
And the colour of night
In prejudice we toil
In war we coexist
I see only black
He sees still white
I see the white and the black
And the colour of flak
He will not change
Through battle and through exchange
Through blood and through pain
Through triumph and gain
He sees still only colour
He sees still me as lesser
