The Coldest Feeling
`The coldest feeling`
I’ll never forget the feeling of your cold wretched hands reaching into my chest
The feeling of your below freezing fingers slowly gripping my heart as if it was the only thing that could warm you
As if you’d never want to break it
Just before you decide it’s just not hot enough and tear it in two
Watching the pain spread through my each and every limb
As my mind becomes paralyzed
You find there’s no better time to rip away the piece I most desperately need
Because you knew without it one we fully heal.
