civil

As we remain "civil"
the world passes us by
As we remain "civil"
Brothers continue to die.
The rights that our ancestors fought for and "won"
Still have to be voted on
You said pardon the pun.

Education is the key
But the key is in the vault
No money, pockets empty
Its not my fault!

The Civil War goes on and the North is losing,
They say slavery is over
but they only changed the chains.

They're invisible now and if you don't agree as President Obama
Or also known as Obama.
Chains of recession
sequester
fillibuster
low wages
no wages
no pampers
no milk
baby's crying
Daddy's dying
And we can't even pay for the casket.

We can't even go to hell, they took the basket.

But I remain civil as we continue to die.
