The chosen few

Malachi 1:5

Your eyes will see it, and then you will say, ‘May the Lord be magnified even beyond the border of Israel!’”

In due time …

A new day presented as a sigh towards the future flows

Soon it will become a habit ... that will turn into history

The good, the bad and righteous appear like a side show

As only the last travel on to escape temporal’s misery

Little left to say ... only a little stammered letter

The past had no secrets that we can’t see today

Humanity’s chosen few are trying to do better

As the weight of depravity leaves little left to say

Where once backs were bowed from heavy labor

Now comforts of existence have expanded the flesh

A great surprise to all ... excluding Christian neighbor

Who walk at a different beat ... smiling at life’s tests

So somewhere are the answers floating in a whisper

Somehow intuition triggers conscience’s well behavior

Set aside for the few ... the redeemed, the pure, the givers

Who in everything meditate and consult the True Savior

“Children of the Father” are we called to be

To appear in a Light serene set aside for the willing

Touched and changed forever for the chosen few to see

As only their eyes are opened ... all promises fulfilling
