Child's Laughter

Simplicity in a child's laughter
Genuine and true from a young soul
Bereft of emotion from years of future regret
The failings of one's own self fulfillment can drive a person mad
There is but those precious moments past
Where lunacy, can wane
The jungle gym, or swing set
His sanity left in childhood memories
He holds onto them, before they finally fade
Remembering
That child's consoling laughter,
Deep inside his brain
