The child of dirt and water

The child of dirt and water

his heart wandered lost amid throngs of overcoming thoughts and dreams

and obscured the gradients of mountain blues

How the mind reaches out from grey muteness

full of watery wishes, a gaping chasm of going to's,

just by being there,

one block away?

Between the earth and the sky

in this fragile vessel

the scene was so beautiful, breathtaking

a mere thought:

he put it back together;

the lines to lost poems,

that was woven throughout the years it has been

"You can in stories."

that's what today is,

no doubt.

Days that dissolved into nights

when the sun starts to sink,

while he stares back.

The carnivorous minority

they forget his tears, the fear of knowing

the bigger picture:

a birthmarked noose coiled over

rounded collar

crystallizing in suspense
