Chauvinist Spirit

Oh, the want for greatness is an earnest desire,

It’s your life, after all.

Passionate people in a divided nation,

Of course they don’t want it to fall!

Voice your views! Denounce the enemy!

Greatness must surely succeed!

We don’t need to compromise,

their advise, we mustn’t heed.

Like-minded people in like-minded places,

All of these familiar faces,

Everyone’s found mental safe-spaces.

To the enemy, argue not one’s graces,

Because they’re wrong!

Haha, we have their Ire!

Burn their ideologies down with fire!

Supporting hugs, and mutual embraces,

Tribalism sullenly replaces

Understanding.
