Chasing Starved Dreams

Thu, 01/19/2017 - 20:04 -- Mateos

Her walls merge to sink under a bloody cavern.

Pale, chapped lips push out all the deeds from within.

Her souls capture the thoughts that float silent in the air.

The sounds wash the shame off from the others around them.

Paper drops cut deeper than the knife they used upon her times before.

Like the ship breached away from shore,

To see her hair wrap the precious innocent toward death

Can break the chain that clung inside her.

Quiet the touch that rips open the empty heart into a piece.

Buried blood blossoms to stretch for everyone to see.

A quick sharp will evaporate the moments of reality.

Define the gate between the worlds of pain through the edge of a fall.

She jumped with her back against the ground to clench a being alongside.

Gripping the dreams wasted by a song, the lady disappears off into in the gloomy light.

Bonds are not strong to clasp onto the roses she never left.

Tiring attempts to hold back a love is eager to wither inside her two hands.

They did not matter before or even so now,

Memories are holes filled with anything they got.

Others could not see the her truth on the things that people hide.

This girl’s only importance is her own little lies some would say.

Arrogant on something simple than a long chain,

They rather tie those who love to play their own game.
