Chaos

There was a sea of black ink that spanned all of beyond

It was in this darkness that grew only a void

Until the seeds of life exploded in a burning array

Prismatic dancing through the infinite black canvas

This gave rise to the supreme empire of chaos

Planting the banner on a sterile floating rock

Dawning the age of chance and opportunity

It is this probability that allows tragedies and horror

This regretful assurance caries the luxury of life

An inexplicable span of time turns a black seed into glory

Surmountable odds overwhelmed by improbable experiences

The infinite desert of black with a solitary oasis of life

Dominion of history stands on a cliff of chance

Every experience of yours is behest to odds innumerable

Good and bad outweigh the alternative that is nothing
