Changeless

Thu, 06/27/2019 - 22:52 -- Le Meow

A little girl heard the seas call

And was swept into the ocean

Into the dark depths she fell

Waves smashing, crashing down

What was I to do but drown

Chocking on the salty taste of hell

Dragged down in the wake of death's devotion

The sea was changeless, I did not matter at all

A woman heard the seas call

And was swept into the ocean

The memories like a bitter sweet lemon

Foam kissing, caressing my body like a gown

What was I to do but claim my crown

Guzzling a sunlit taste of heaven

Hugged in the wake of life’s devotion

I was changeless, there was nothing to fear at all
