Chance

Location

Nose glued in books day to day
Nothing solid but a GPA
Car repairs and tuition is in the way
Perhaps grants would help, who can say?

What about an occupation?
That may help my fees till graduation
Asking money from the congregation
Applying for scholarships is an interrogation

That dream job by chance
May find me at first glance
I'd celebrate through interpretive dance
All that gas money in advance

My life would look brighter
No more bills wrapping me tighter
I'd step a little lighter
Maybe if this scholarship was my career igniter
