C'est la Vie

The idea of settling is irrelevant,

For who is to stay where unwanted?

Always running , and not knowing where

Going to a promised land that promises nothing

No not heaven but instead a purgatory

As life for travelers does not end

Life keeps getting worse.

Thinking for yourself; can you?

Forcing him to listen but you won't

Don't you understand he won't understand?

What ever has he done.

Even more promises leaving bitter hope,

Keep him happy till the end,

Let him feel what you tell him to.

Broken but he doesn't know it yet

All of man will die alone

He'll offer all to him and ask for what?

The happiness, they're what he desires

Why loneliness hasn't taken over

One would praise such a glory.

Too good to be true as is life

The innocence is mistaken for danger

What was still is but a mere illusion

Comforting lies lead to a sad life

Not much of a choice for lonesome travelers

Nothing to look ahead to,

What's a life for those who won't settle?

I'd be better off without you

A life with one less worry but no life at all

The trigger is pulled but does freedom await?
