Careless Figments of the Mind

Mon, 03/18/2019 - 23:12 -- abeamon

Ever wonder why the mind wanders over the minute aspects of life,

Constantly.

The thoughts of substance digress deep within,

Subconsciously.

The heart protects itself while unfathomable thoughts crush your soul.

The mind wanders in circles.

Relentlessly.

We are left with petrifying fears.

They’re like kids with a burning desire to get called on in class.

The reality of these thoughts are dismantling.Careless figments cloud my judgements.

They’ve won.

They cackle at me.

Careless figments of the mind...emotionless things.

Objects that, thrust upon you uncanny sentiments.

That, until you learn to laugh back.
